Hello!
I’m Shivangi. I’m a service designer, curious learner, systems thinker, and collaborative problem solver. I’m passionate about co-creating differentiated and inclusive experiences that people need and love.
As a designer…I am deeply curious about people’s needs, behaviors and motivations. I love putting the puzzle pieces together and gravitate towards clusters of [opposing] stickies or doodles on a whiteboard as they often reveal the most insightful answers. I am collaborative, empathetic, and seek diverse, equitable and inclusive work environments.
As a human…I am a first-generation Indian-American and grew up in Ann Arbor, MI (go blue!). I am a wife, human & dog mother living in the Bay Area. I am also a creator at heart. I am a passionate home chef, food photographer and recipe developer. In 2022, I embarked on a creative journey to write, design, photograph and publish my first cookbook, Mindful Indian Meals, available on Amazon!
What I Do

Creative Direction
I help bring the vision to life and work in design tools to deliver artifacts like journey maps, experience maps, service blueprints, and prototypes.
Storytelling
I bring stakeholders along through artful storytelling and workshop facilitation that ultimately helps build alignment and pushes transformational work forward.

What people have said about me…
“Shivangi is an innately human-centered strategic thinker. She can’t help but make connections among the needs of customers and the business. Her ability to navigate ambiguous problem spaces, consume and sort large amounts of information, find patterns, and extract insights is like automated robot speed.” – Principal Designer at Humana
“Shivangi’s ability to lead [the team] through ambiguity of problem spaces using design processes and strategic thinking is evident. She is resilient; she is able to overcome challenges at both project and organization levels, and consistently delivers exceptional work.” – Design Team Manager at Humana (I directly reported to them)
